I bought a second tisas duty recently, and while looking for cheap magazines, discovered a deal / better option. Tisas duty tisas mags are essentially $50.00 each for their 17 rounders. However…. Prodigy mags work in the tisas duty, and prodigy mags are cheaper, @ $34.00 for their 17, 20, and 25 rd mags from mag shack. I grabbed a $40 Prodigy mag instead of an $80 STI mag when I got my Romulus. So far it's worked well. I think I'd prefer stainless, but the dark finish works too. And yes - I'm also seeing $40. |

| FYI, I have both Prodigy and MAC 9 DS and I have more than a dozen magazines, 17 rds from Springfield, 17 rds from Checkmate, and 18 rds from MecGar, plus 20 rds from Springfield. All worked in both guns flawlessly. Most expensive ones came from Checkmate, at $50. Cheapest came from Springfield, at $29 bux. |

They do sit a hair higher than all other so the top cartridge will most likely bump against the ejector potentially causing ejector breakage with repeated reloads from slide lock, ask me, I know LOL |

i definately need a lot more of them. just did a full inventory of gun stuff, tisas duty ( 2 pistols) 8 spare mags total RIA 9mm 2011, 8 mags total ( not bad) RIA 10mm 16 rd 2011, ( 2 pistols 5 spare mags). glock 10mm, ( 3 pistols) 12 , 15rd mags total. definately need a lot more of all of those. 10 spare mags per pistol is what i consider minimum. |

However, when Atlas runs sales, the Classic mags come down to around $52. I think that the extra $7 is worth it for aluminum base pads. Atlas historically does sales in March and black friday. Not sure if that might change now that they have spun off the parts business into Perfect Zero, however. |

I now have 6 of the 126mm Mec Gar and they all worked 100% in both Prodigy 5" Comp and MAC DS 4.25" Comp. |
