Thought I'd share my Tisas A-1 1911. Added a set of Colt rosewood grips, a Springfield stainless barrel with Remington bushing, medium trigger, Ed Brown trigger spring 4 lb pull and Remington ambi safety being left handed. Hits 3 inch steel plates at 15-20 yds easily with budget 800 fps reloads. Probably have $500ish in it but it shoots above that price tag and have been very pleased how it turned out. Didn't quite shoot as good as I would like it in stock configuration so made a few changes.Attached File Attached File Attached File |
