I’m looking to purchase my first red dot for my S&W M&P 2.0 subcompact (4” barrel). I’d love a holosun EPS but it’s outside my budget… On the front page I saw the Vortex Venom enclosed red dot and it runs for about $180 right now on Amazon which seems like a great price from a solid brand. Then I came across one made by Vector which is $130 (scrd 68). Saw some reviews on youtube and it seems legit but I’m curious to see what ya’ll think about it? You can get by with a cheap red dot on a 22LR rifle or pistol,.....but think about the hard life an optic has SLAMMING back and forth every time you pull the trigger. work some overtime, and get something good, or stick with irons. a cheap red dot on a pistol slide will quickly fail. |

| I decided a long time ago to get good, quality stuff. Not the most expensive, but definitely not the cheapest. I’d rather spend more now than buy cheap, have it break and wind up spending more anyway. I’d consider the Holosun EPS a mid range optic in terms of price, but the quality is definitely above the price point. Their CS is awesome as well in my experience. Save a little money and get the EPS. It’s only around $100 or so more than what you’re looking to spend. You won’t regret it. |

Attached File This one is great for an astigmatism. The Cyelee Wolf-2 G. It works with my astigmatism but it's not a prismatic sight. And is on Amazon for less than $130. |

| I have the Vortex Venom enclosed and have 800 rounds through it. The only negative are adjustment is mushy at certain spots. Once you get it zero you wouldn't have to deal with it again. I like having the buttons on top. I can look down and turn up/down the brightness. Other than the mushy adjustment it been a good optic. |
