Considering an SSI Tungsten Guide Rod for my Shadow 2. Anybody use these? Worth the $110? Or is my money better spent elsewhere? Pistol is used for recreational shooting, not competition use. Already have new grips, magazines, holster, magwell, etc. Thanks! Edit: I added LOK brass grips to the pistol, so the weight (with a full loaded 18-round mag) is pretty balanced right over the trigger. With an empty mag, obviously the weight is more nose-heavy. Tungsten Guide Rod will obviously make the front a little heavier, which would (in theory) maintain a more nose-heavy profile, even with a full mag. |
