Has anyone tried one of these yet? I hate the stock trigger on my dagger, and have heard certain aftermarket triggers are not compatible. Stumbled across the tactical pontoon mentioned on Reddit, liked the price and pulled the trigger (pun intended) on one this morning. Ordered the dagger upgrade kit with the peacemaker trigger. Hoping it gets rid of the spongy feel. |

For someone 99.9% of gun owners have never heard of, he has what has to be the biggest ego in gun parts. Having tons of stickers of him as a Jedi or some other character is just really fucking cringe. BUT, at one point he had a stack of stock Glock triggers that he had a smoothed up the face and he was offering them for free. I paid an extra $30 for a couple of springs and an different connector. I installed it and it was better than the stock Dagger trigger (It was probably better than just switching out for the $10 P80 flat trigger and bar, but either was an improvement). |
| When I was looking for qty 4 new triggers, he was too busy to talk to me on the phone for a few mins to answer a couple of questions. Was a huge turn off and spoke to customer service before and after the sale. As expected, I passed on what would be a $1500 sale |

I have two Timney Alphas, a JohnnyGlocks Evo X Combat, and numerous factory triggers for comparison. I'll buy another TP trigger when I need one. |

I agree his marketing is pretty weird. On the other hand Mark LaRue is pretty cocky and he makes a good trigger. Guess I will wait and see. Couldn’t bring myself to pay $20 for the 3d printed Glock block from Tactical Pontoon, so mine is printing now. If the trigger is decent, the next project will be playing with recoil springs. |

I would hope it's good for $230.00  I'm seeing a group of small businesses and fans who hype each other up just a little more than expected. Smells a little funny to me, which is unsettling since one of them was a holster maker I've used and recommended. |

I cant pay that much for one of his triggers. I did some research to see if they were really worth the cost. Every place I looked it was him talking about how good he was and his devotees frothing at the mouth lined up to worship him. It creeped me out to where I dont care how good the triggers are. The pricing just makes it worse. It reminds me of Olight "collectors" devotion |

We see our share of fanboi activity here on arfcom as well. (Geisselle, AIWB carry, Trijicon RDSs, Glock 19, Trump, etc. etc. etc.) It happens. |

I wanted a metal flat-faced trigger to try, and they all seemed to be around same price with mixed reports on compatibility with the dagger. I figured $120 for one designed to work with a Dagger vs $100 for one that might work was worth a shot. Will post report when it shows up. |

Hoping it gets rid of the spongy feel. If you'd like a smooth pull with no bumps/wall, the Black Yikes connector sold by the Glock Store in Tenn. is the king of the hill. I have tried many of the fancy expensive triggers and this connector gives you the largest change in improvement per dollar, by far. I prefer it over the expensive setups. |

Trigger finally showed up today. Here is my mini review based on dry fire only: Trigger face feels 100x better than the mushy hinged abomination that came with the gun. Pull is short with a distinct wall. Breaks around 6#, a good bit stiffer than expected, even with the upgrade springs that came with new trigger. Weird part is that the reset feels gritty. Overall, I would say it is an improvement over the stock trigger, but I would hesitate before buying again. For same price of dagger and upgraded trigger, I could snag a Canik with a similar feeling trigger. I will see how much it improves with some rounds down range and maybe the $.25 trigger job. |
