I’m setting up one of my HP with a YHM Sidewinder and recalled reading someplace about using a .40 cal recoil spring. Now that I’m actually doing it I can’t seem to find any good references about it. Hoping someone here has some info. Longer story is I bought several T series HPs several years back when there was a bunch imported and cheap. This one is a nicer example but it came with a mismatched barrel so I figured it was a good candidate. It turns out the 40 cal spring is a lot more difficult to get to stay in place when putting it back together but eventually I got it. I haven’t fired the thing yet but the suppressor just got approved and I’m gonna want to check it out here soon. I figure worst case scenario is the thing just doesn’t cycle even with the suppressor and I order up a higher strength 9mm spring. |
