Over 15 years of EDC and over 20k rounds. Still collecting tears from the internet. Yes thats one of Dale Fricke original Archangel AIWB holsters, and its still great after 10 years. Light has been upgraded to several much brighter and smaller light options. Picture is somewhere around 10 years old. I never understood the hate for the grip safety. It was one of the main reasons i chose it for my primary AIWB carry. I actually own glocks as well. A G19 and a G40. I had a "click" when re-holstering on dry fire exercises when i got the tail of my t shirt stuck in the trigger guard of a G19. Yes user error. Yes, i was reholstering quickly and more carelessly than i should have, and i was not looking the gun back into the holster, but with the XD all i have to do is put my thumb on the slide, and then im clear to reholster as fast as i want or need to. Anyways, mine has been a solid tool that has seen plenty of use and abuse. Springs and roll pin replaced twice. (decided just to add the roll pin as part of spring maintenance, they are cheap enough) Horrible home stippling job i know, but heck, i was 21, and it was 15 years ago. All the cool kids were doing it.

Bought this about 3 months ago. Ronin 9mm LW Commander. Sent it back to Springfield 2 months ago to have night sights installed and the front strap checkered. Should get it back this Monday. Then it's time to install some mods. |
