Thanks man...you are correct. It's a custom Cerakote job that started off as "titanium". It's really hard to capture the color in pictures, but it is actually darker in person. I would describe it as a dark graphite gunmetal with metallic flakes in it. Just picked up the XDs today, gotta get it to the Range this weekend! So far I have no complaints, the trigger is much different than my XDm, much more crisp and much improved reset. Yea, the trigger is kinda like a Glock as some would say, very firm and stays back once pulled. Also I gotta say the front sight is much better for acuisition. Lastly, SLIM - SLIM, this baby is THIN. I replaced the back strap with the smaller one, and I have added pearce extensions on the grips which I needed. Enjoy and I'll be posting this weeked after I get 100-200rds through it.

I bought an XD 9mm Service model a few years ago and loved it. I just picked up an XDS 45ACP BiTone to add another Springfield to the collection. I even got some Hi-Cap Mags to go with it!   |
