Very sharp looking pistol, at some point may consider picking up an Echelon and one of those frames but hesitant as I'm already loaded up on XD & XDm series pistols, mags and holsters. Adding a new non-compatible model is a bit rich.  |

Revising this thread. Just picked up a compact. Not much about it i don't think is awesome. Except accuracy so far, not terrible not great. It's been my experience either it's me and I settle in, or the barrel does. How has yours been? |

I'm pretty picky about small details but somehow missed that. My plan was always to get a FDE grip module so it didn't matter much. |

It is the cleanest, most fine-tuned stock pistol I've ever shot. It handles recoil so well and runs so smoothly that it actually is less fun than other pistols at the range, because it turns out that some recoil does in fact put a smile on my face. But that's really a compliment... it's easy to shoot, manipulate, and everything feels smooth yet intentional, to me at least. Well done, Springfield. |

You can buy magazine base plates. Plain Jane plates here are 17 bucks but you can also add an image if you want which makes it 21 bucks each. They also have sleeves to allow for the 17 and 20 round mags to be used with the compact grip module. I wonder if the sleeves are compatible with the Sharp Bros grip module...
