I know I’m probably late to the party and this has been discussed before but I didn’t see anything on it. Got a random want for an Sig P365 SAS version. Found one semi local to me, but it’s still a few hours away. Nobody’s got one locally that I can actually put hands on or demo. The Smallest pistol I have right now is a Glock 43X. How does it compare size wise as they advertise the 365 SAS as a pocket pistol . It appeared to be discontinued, but are still available online on various forums used, etc. Who has one, or had one and what was the feedback on them? |

Played with one at a gun show one day and thought it was pretty cool, so I bought it. Then I took it to the range, and quickly learned to hate it. The sighting system is just horrible, even for moderate accuracy. I understand they are intended to just be minute of bad guy, but that bad guy would have had to be the size of a house if he was at any reasonable distance. One of the best things about covid was that I was able to resell it for what I paid for it. |
| I would avoid it. The bullseye sights seem interesting but seem like they are lacking if you want to shoot beyond 21 feet. |

| FWIW, the 43X is actually closer in size to the P365 X-Macro, almost the same size actually. The P365 and XL are smaller than the 43X, not to mention the SAS. Handgunhero.com is a website to look at size comparisons. |
| I carried a SAS for several years. I liked the snag free concept, but the sight ended up being the reason I moved to a standard P365. Mine had a good POI/POA, not all of them do and its non-adjustable so you're sol if its off. Mostly, the sight was a pain to live with, and dust it picked up rendered it unusable. |
