I’m pretty sure I know the answer. I have an Sig P228R that I wanted to throw an optic on. I think I am unable to cut the slide because of the “breach block”. The Reddit community recommends buying an already cut 229 slide. Do y’all agree with that? Trying to find the most cost effective way to do this. Thanks! Frank- |
As I understand it, that's a P229 frame, so a modern optic cut P229 slide should work, which is what I did for my M11A1. Picked up the slide with a 6 MOA Sig Romeo1Pro and suppressor height sights for $500 at Proven Arms and resold the optic for $250. Sadly, they don't seem to have any in stock now. |
