| I have they SA SS in a coupe of guns and it does make a noticeable difference, especially if you go with a lighter spring. IIRC, the SS comes with a 20# spring but I like the 19# (blue) spring. |

I have used both the Sig Armorer Superstrut and the GG Strut System. Both smooth out the trigger pull. I have to give the SS the edge over the GG system. I also like the 19# spring. I have installed the SS in my M11-A1, 226MK25, 229, and P225-A1. |

Have you tried installing the 19# spring without a modified strut? I’m curious as to how much improvement was due to the spring itself? This video implies that most of the improvement comes from the spring and not the strut:  Sig P226 DASA Trigger Improvement Skip to 3:59. |

I just spent a ridiculous amount of time over analyzing the factory SRT… The DA pull is fairly smooth but heavy. I can detect perceptible creep if I feel for it, especially near the end of the stroke. In SA, the creep is more noticeable. Curiously, I can really feel the creep with a crunch at the end when manually cocking the hammer. I think it’s because doing so pulls the hammer farther than a normal pull. Is this the creep/crunch caused by the factory strut rubbing on the hammer spring that people refer to? If so, then I can see how an aftermarket strut would make a difference, especially since a lighter spring would make any creep more noticeable. |

^^ prob since the new strut is polished smooth. As far as installation goes, its about to drive me nuts. Seems like a straightforward install compared to the trigger, but I cant seem to get things lined up. Put it in the way/direction its supposed to? Check Can feel the hammer moving in? Check Reinstall spring and pull the trigger and nothing happens. Put old strut back in with its old spring and it does the exact same thing. Its driving me mad!!! Doesnt help that youtube went down. |

If you have E2 style grips, You may have damaged/bent the trigger reset spring when you took them off. It’s the long spring on the right side. EDIT: Is it possible you popped it out of position?
