I just got this baby back from having the barrel shortened from 4" to 3", a new front sight was dovetailed in to the rib and finally the grip was converted from a square butt to a round butt. The work was done by Sam Damewood in New Mexico and I can tell ya he does quality work. This beauty will no longer be a safe queen that is for sure!!!!!!

My roughly 3wk old 638-3. I have since put the OEM UM grips back on, they work much better for my largish hands. Gun was NIB but after some firing/dryfiring actually has an awesome trigger pull. Love the fit and finish too.

My newest toy just finished up by Dan Burwell of Burwellgunsmithing.com M&P45 with CTC lasergrips stippled, trigger stippled, striker cover stippled, index points stippled, front strap stippled, etc. Tritium front night sight, warren tactical rear sight. Polished hard chrome barrel, slide release, extractor, yada, yada. Slide melt/radius, magwell cutouts, beavertail removed, 4.5lb trigger job, etc. Love his work. A couple pages back you can see my M&P9c he worked on.
