Hello. I have a Safariland 6378RDS ALS holster with the oem belt loop attachment. I use a 1.5 inch belt so looking for a 1.75 inch attachment at most. I am thinking about going to a mid ride UBL with thigh strap. Is this what I need or something else? - I prefer the UBL not be cantable but looks like that's not an option - I don't need QD and want to keep the holster as close to by body as possible. Agree with these dudes, the T-Rex strap is legit. Consider a True North drop as well. It provides a much more solid rig. True North leg drop |

These part numbers came from Google AI but they look correct: The standard, non-cantable Safariland UBL is not manufactured in a dedicated 1.75-inch width version. Safariland only molds the rigid, non-cantable Model 6070UBL (Mid-Ride) and Model 6075UBL (Low-Ride) in two standard base widths: 2-inch belts (Part Number: 6070UBL-2-2) 2.25-inch belts (Part Number: 6070UBL-2-25 or 6070UBL-2) If you strictly need a 1.75-inch UBL that won't slide around on your belt, you can use the Cantable Version (CUBL). Safariland explicitly designed the adjustable CUBL to accommodate 1.75-inch tactical belts. Even though it is built to be adjustable, you can securely lock it straight up and down (zero-degree cant) during installation. I locked mine straight up-and-down and it has held securely. I also utilize their QLS system. You don’t need a thigh strap on a mid-ride, and I wouldn’t recommend one even if it were easy to add. It’s the Low Ride where you really get into optional thigh straps. I still wouldn’t recommend one though. I dislike them. I actually prefer a high ride unless you need it lower to clear body armor. Mid ride was my preference as a patrolman because that was low enough to clear my armor without really being low enough to hinder me from staying seated in a vehicle for most of a 12-hour shift. For SWAT duties I prefer a low ride because it clears even the bulkiest Level IV armor no matter how you’re moving around physically. |

May find a variant that fits your needs a little better. |

If they drew straight up they’d never experience that issue. |
+1 for the True North MHA (would order it anywhere else than GBRS though), the UBLs are just not comfortable. I also prefer to run the leg strap as low as possible, through a flexible hanger (dunno who makes them anymore though):  The T Rex Arms straps are nice:
