Just found these on Proven Arms & Outfitters website: SIG US ARMY 250th Anniversary High polish stainless steel, gold controls. The say Only 250 were made. No one else has them from what i've seen and none on secondary market. Also states that they are: Only available to eligible active duty U.S. Army personnel & U.S. Army Veterans

The finish appears to be similar to the four special M17s produced for the Sentinels at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier that I posted about here. I like the idea of a commemorative pistol for the Army’s birthday, but it doesn’t have the Army seal or even appear to mention the U.S. Army anywhere. I guess they didn’t get permission to include something like that. Attached File |
