OK, this thing is fantastic! I love it a lot.
Took the firing pin block out and the creep left the trigger pull. I'll polish it up and get a lighter spring before I reinstall it. It has the Tanfo style mainspring, not the CZ. Same with the safety, Tanfo shape and will go on with the hammer full down. The grips aren't nearly as crap as I was led to believe, either. |

I bought mine around three or four years ago. It is one of the most ackuate hand guns I have. To me it’s a point and shoot gun. BTW its my every day carry. The gun has been flawless from day one HB and HP. The only problem Iv had is the week mag springs. I replaced some of my mag springs with Wolf springs.

I had an odd problem with the one I bought. Loaded to capacity, it would jam on every round. But when I loaded the mag 1 below capacity, it ran like a top. Shot it a few hundred rounds with zero issues always loading the mag down 1 round. Odd that after I started loading down 1 I never went back to see if it would run with a mag filled to capacity. Guess I didn't really care. Eventually sold it to fund something else. |

If PSA still has them at the clearance price, it’s one of the best .45 handguns for the price. SAR USA does list a threaded barrel, OOS right now, but I have one and it’s nicely made. As someone posted years ago, it’s the updated CZ-97B we never got. (I also have the 97B and truthfully the K2 has far better ergos.) |

My compact came in today from PSA. Great pistol, if a bit heavy. Info is contradictory on the webz; compact takes the same 14 round mags ass the full size. |

Similarly, does anyone know if their P8 platform uses a proprietary magazine? I ended up ordering a couple P8’s to go with my pair of K2’s. I need professional help….. |

| I today I picked up the two K2 45s and the two P8s I ordered. LGS guys said they had a “ton” of them come through recently so it looks like lots of folks got in on the sale. I tried my CZ(actually older TZ but same mag) 17 round mags and they fit, feed, and lock back just fine. I did not get to the range but they appear GTG. That’s fortunate as when I ordered the pistols there were several sources of magazines for both at good prices: Less vendors have them now and those that do are charging list. I think I’ll just pick up another dozen or so CZ mags for the 9mms but want to get a similar pile for the 45s. I’m not going the Para Ordnance P14 route if I can help it. |
