Fun project, wanted shorter slide and barrel to help with balance. The B6 slide fit on the 2000 frame, but the rear of the slide overhung the frame by about 3/16" inch. Marked it out and did my best dremel job on the slide, then finished the rear with alumahyde. I purchased the slide, threaded barrel, and recoil assembly for the B6 from SAR USA's website. It will likely fit, but since they use a full length dustcover on the k12, you'll have frame rails on the slide you'll see exposed on the front since the 2000 uses a short dustcover. Also possible the recoil assembly will be visible because of the same issue. |

Nice project gun. I like a short barrel and slide on a suppressed gun. Helps a little with the oal and the shorter barrel can help keep velocity well under the subsonic threshold. The longer grip makes it comfy to shoot. I built something like this with a p320, but of course that's cheating. Building a p320 is like putting together Legos. |
