Wondering how many NV settings the HRS is supposed to have? I just bought a like new one and it seems to have 7 setting total settings, and where the dimmest nv setting is supposed to be, the sight just turns off. Is that a new feature with the HRS or is my unit defective? My other rmr's have 8 total settings with the last setting being the dimmest nv setting, which is one dimmer than the hrs goes. They also don't shut off on the bottom setting. Everything I can find online says they should be the same as a standard rmr. The Brighter NV setting blooms if its too dark out so I'd like to have the dimmer nv setting. What I'm seeing: Rmr HRS settings 1: Brightness setting 8 (Brightest) 2: Brightness setting 7 3: Brightness setting 6 4: Brightness setting 5 5: Brightness setting 4 6: Brightness setting 3 7 : NV Setting 2 (Brightest NV setting) 8: OFF (Dot dissappears) My other standard RMR's 1: Brightness setting 8 (Brightest) 2: Brightness setting 7 3: Brightness setting 6 4: Brightness setting 5 5: Brightness setting 4 6: Brightness setting 3 7 : NV Setting 2 (Brightest NV setting) 8: NV setting 1 (Dimmest NV setting) Posted in the nv forum as well but there isnt much traffic there. |
