I've had two of them, but kept neither. (around 4-5 years ago...1st one to try, 2nd I couldn't refuse the price) Both shot well, and accuracy with the scope was outstanding. Pros; I found it an attractive and very comfortable handgun, with quality fit and finish. Function was 100%, as I don't recall a single malfunction with either pistol, using any ammo. Accuracy was very good (with a rest), easily on par with my MKIIs and Model 41s. Cons; Trigger was poor for that price range of pistol IMO. Offhand it was difficult to shoot great, which I suspect resulted from the somewhat light weight of the pistol, and as some suggest; the inertia of the higher-centered exposed hammer. I did check in to it a bit at the time, and IIRC, there was a smith in Arizona or New Mexico doing some fantastic trigger work on these pistols for around $100.... wait times were long, so I didn't get any further than that. The finish also looked weak on all that aluminum, but I never caused any wear or marks, so maybe it was tougher than it looked. Sorry I can't give you any more pics. If you do decide to buy one, be sure it's either new or newer production. There were some barrel issues in the first releases. |

That's what I was thinking. Hence my confusion as to why it was posted in a rimfire forum but especially since it was posted in a "show pics of your rimfire" thread.

I picked up this MKII at a gunshop for $150 in critical condition. .  . Broke it down for a new life. Sent the barrel upper to mike At Tornado Tech for his magic touch. barrel cut and threaded at 4.5 with thread protector front sight moved back, and a nice finnish. Then I polished all the trigger group for a smooth Trigger job, no pre or post creep. Aluninum oxide blast most parts for cerakote to come. All parts that are gun metal grey are that color after oxide blast. Matte clear carakote all the grey parts. cerakote black parts. Diferent springs and tune for good function with any ammo. New extractor. New grips and screws. . . A 2nd life for this MKII and it shoots nice. .  .  .  .  . |

I have a similar Buckmark. Mine is all black. I don't have the fiberoptic front sight. And mine has the URX grip. How do you like the Burris? |

The newer Tactical Innovations quick change uppers for Rugers. I have a short threaded barrel for suppressors and a longer slab side for just shooting. There are other barrels available, but these will do for now. I also put in a VQ trigger and sear. I can switch barrels in about 3 seconds or faster if I try.   |

You have some of the nicest rimfires I've seen. That Beretta 87 with the suppressor was my desktop for a long while. I still want one.  That Colt just ups the anti. |

Here are my 5 rimfire handguns, all from NAA. They are very nice and a back up to whatever large caliber semi-auto that I carry concealed (CCW). The 22 magnums have a lot of power blasting out. The center one in this pic is about 8 years old and shoots only .22 magnum ammo. The other ones on either side also shoot 22 Long Rifle (LR) and also 22 Short ammo. Those cylinders are factory timed to each weapon and are marked LR, as the 22 magnum cylinders are marked with a M. The center 22 mini-revolver has had plenty of rain, humidity, salt spray and has held up beautifully. I have never had a problem with any of these North American Arms Mini-Magnums.
