My grandpa's "snake charmer", a 1958 H&R 999 "Sportsman". He carried this all over his property exactly as you see it - in a vintage Boyt 410.6 holster on an ammo bandolier and an attached 1945-dated first aid kit that was (and still is) full of loose vintage .22LR cartridges (Remington and Federal). These are 9-shot top breaks. The DA trigger is awful but they're pretty nice in single action.

Wanted a threaded barrel and had this mark iii tapered barrel sitting around. Decided to try out a pac-lite upper. Attached File I think I might grab some old pachmayr grips. |
