| I've got an HK P30 V1 that I love. I thought I was really good with my iron sight handguns over the last 30 years, but once I started training with red dots I didn't realize how many more advantages I could get out of those systems. Does anyone have an advice for a reputable company for custom optic cuts on a HK P30? There isn't a lot of real estate on the slide, and I'm not crazy about losing the rear sight dove tail. Langdon Tactical seems like one of the better options, but I don't know. I know that their cut will remove the rear dove tail, and replace it with a mounting plate with fixed rear iron sight. Any advice would help, thanks. |

The Wright Armory i-Dot is the other option popular with HK folks for USP & P30 https://wrightarmory.com/product/i-dot-conversion-hk-p30/ Not cheap but it's a good setup Similar to the way Mark of L&M precision used to do the cuts & plates I have a P30 done by L&M, and am considering having Wright do up my P30sk  There are a few other companies like APO or Vulcan that offer cheaper direct cuts with varying quality and lead times |

| I've been considering a P30 and looking at options as well, but I greatly dislike plate systems. Dual Hammer does an EPS milling that apparently cowitnesses with the stock night sights. Also there's a company coming out with Optic ready slides for all hammer HK models next year |
Just throwing this out there as an inexpensive alternative. DoveDOT makes an optic plate that presses into the slide in the rear sight channel. Has a built-in rear sight and comes with a higher fiber optic front sight post to maintain cowitness with the higher red dot. Mine has been rock solid with hundreds of rounds so far.
