I’ve noticed that the Ruger RXM has a stainless steel tube/channel under the right side optics holes. It prevents longer screws from being used and if I use the shortest ones (with Crimson Trace RAD micro), they quickly come loose. Has anyone else noticed this issue? Seems so weird unless I am supposed to use a longer screw on the left side only? |

Originally Posted By Strabo: That's the extractor depressor plunger in that channel of the slide. If you use too long of a screw, it will bind up the extractor from functioning properly. You will need one long screw & one shorter screw. Thanks for the info, I am hoping that Vortex includes both sizes with their optics |
