it does, but I have used newer generation mags as well

Any generation Glock magazines work. I bought new Gen5 for mine.

Yep. I have multiple generation Glock OEM mags and they all work just fine. Magpul PMAGs works too, but I trust Glock.

Are you having an issue or just want to confirm?

Some folks had issues with the slide stop with the first run of pistols, IIRC. Think a couple videos on youtube cover it.

If G OEM mags bump the slide stop, you can swap in an OEM gen 3 to correct it, cheap and easy fix.

That looks like a different question than the first one.

If you are asking if Gen3 Glock magazines work in Gen5 Glocks, the answer is yes, IF the magazine catch is set on the left side of the gun.

If it is setup for a left handed shooter (magazine release on the right side), you'll need Gen4 or Gen5 magazines as they have the appropriate cutouts on both sides of the body.
