| I have a couple RMR pattern cut slides but most of the enclosed sights are either RMSc or DPP cuts, since the RMR screw holes are too far forward. The DPP seems to be too long for a rear iron sight in many cases so RMSc seems to be the prevailing option. I’ve seen adapter plates, which I understand will be needed to fill the gap but would prefer a screw that goes through the plate, so it’s just a spacer, and direct threads into the slide. It seems that would be stronger than the extra screws and limited thread engagement of attaching the plate then attaching the optic to the plate. Anyone offer this type of conversion? Seems like it should just be a spacer plate and drilling two screw holes. |

Not possible. The RMSc optic screws would not match the RMR holes. If you have posts on your slide nothing will fit. If no posts, go with the DPP RMR to RMSc plate. 40 bucks on amazon. Fantastic plate. DPP plate will not work with Osight optics. They make their own RMR to RMSc plate. |

Not sure what the cost would be. The SS set up is slick. No plates needed. All the RMR to RMSc plates I'm aware of have posts. You could mill the posts off and use with your modified slide. That's lots of extra cost for little return. None of my plates have been a problem. YMMV. |
