I’ve acquired a compact grip I’ll be putting on a 4.25 comped version. However not all parts were delivered. Wondering if someone could do me a solid, the mainspring housing cap is shorter in the compact vs the full-size, this is the part that was missing out of my order. I’ve got a handful of spare msh caps in my shop, and wondering if someone with a compact could measure the OAL of their compact msh cap, so I can machine down one of my full size. Any help would be appreciated! |

Compact grip swap done, pretty straightforward. Most full size parts work but will need: compact Msh, compact msh spring, shorter msh cap. The 17rd mags fit with Egw magwell and sit slightly proud of magwell. Taking the baseplate off the 21rd mags and put on a 17 but they won’t seat without modification and did not do that. I did choose to swap out the ignition kit and also swapped slide stop. Will try and get some pictures up this weekend. |
