Tl;dr Kindly request recommendations for a pillow on an ANR AIWB for a 442. Personally, I appreciate simplicity and minimalism, so that had me feeling like a pillow is excessive… in the sense that it’s just another expense and thing to maintain and use, without being necessary. Yeah, the additional amount of maintenance is minimal and its benefits outweigh the ‘burden’ of adding it into the mix… which is why I’m here. It occurred to me that my gut pushes the butt outward, tipping the barrel into my groin. It’s not uncomfortable in the least, as is, and the revolver conceals very well. But I did stuff some 3/4” padding behind the holster forward of the cylinder and the butt disappeared (in a fitted w/beater) completely. So consider me a convert! Now I need you good fellows to suggest an appropriate pillow for an ANR AIWB. I’m not familiar with the brands, sizes, etc. If anyone has improvised pillows, post them up, as I don’t mind rolling my own. I used a sleeping pad cut to fit as a tester.

Thank you, that silver teardrop looks like it might do the trick. They are out of stock though. Searched some keywords and I see Mastermind Tactics mentioned often. The ‘wedge’ model seems like a fair middle ground to start from. I’ll give it a few days and see where I land |

Tier 1 concealed sells a wedge pack with various sizes. They work really well. I only use a wedge on sidecar style holsters. Tenicor holsters has this sort of “wedge” built into their holsters so it really helps. It’s just kydex but for my G19 it’s my favorite holster. |

They are excellent and work with just about any holster. |
