Does anyone have experience reducing the trigger pull weight on a P365? In particular this is the .380 Luxe model. This gun is my wife's, she has the Rose models of the P365 .380, and the P365xl 9mm. Both the Rose guns have a noticeably lighter trigger pull than the Luxe. This is a gun that will never be used for self-defense, so I have no qualms about trying an aftermarket trigger. I see some options out from Mcarbo, Ram Tactical, and Tactical triggers, however there is not a ton of information, or really a ton of aftermarket options out there. At least in comparison to say a Glock. I figured I'd ask the hive... TIA |
| I run the Armory Craft flat triggers in both of my P365s. They also sell a spring kit that reduces the pull weight and an increased trigger return spring. I haven't used the springs to drop the pull weight but I run the increased return spring as it has a more positive reset. There's a few thousand rounds between the triggers and springs with zero issues so far. |

I have this in my 365 XL that has about 1200ish rounds since. It does a great job but I removed the striker spring after a light primer strike and the trigger still feels great. MCARBO |
| Honestly, I thought the 365 trigger was pretty light and vague feeling when I moved to it as a carry pistol. Coming from glocks, which I still carry when I want a 19 sized pistol, they have a very 2 stage type trigger pull and the wall is defined and crisp(for a striker) with a positive reset. The 365 was light at 3.8-4lb break and smooth, but reset was weak and not positive. I put a +10% reset trigger in mine and that bumped pull to 4-4.1lb pull. Thats light enough for a carry gun. |

I appreciate the responses. I still haven't made any changes to the gun. I figure I'd see what it feels like after 1000 rounds or so and go from there. But we're not far from that now so an MCARBO spring kit is looking like it's worth a try. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with the trigger. The Luxe is a very nice gun! I am a Glock guy myself. I have carried a G19 for years, so all these P365s feel fantastic. The wife wanted a comped .380, and we have a friend with a 9mm Spectre. The Spectre has a very refined trigger. Smoother than both her Roses so we figured the Luxe would be more along those lines. And it is, however if the Rose P365's have 4lb triggers, the Luxe has to be closer to 6lbs. At any rate she is getting serious about shooting and looking into USPSA, so I think in reality it's probably time to start looking at guns more focused on competition than defense. Thanks again! |
| For me, when I replaced the curved trigger for a flat one, it seemed like the pull weight was reduced but actually wasn't. The flat trigger perception of a lesser pull weight was just what I was looking for without giving up any issues with reliability. |
