I got an older X5 and was wondering what the deal is with this hole. Is there supposed to be a roll pin there?

I am not sure what its for but an image search shows all.of them having it

It is normal and not something to fill in. It's machined for the extractor in the milled slides as the models don't have a removable breech block, like the older stamped slides do.
