I have a P226 Blackwater edition that I bought lightly used many years ago. Just wondering what it might be worth in today's market? I know they weren't made for very long, but I'm not sure if these fetch a premium or not. Thanks for any input. Attached File Attached File |

Gunbroker shows only 4 "complete" listings that were listed for pretty outrageous prices with absolutely no movement. $1745 was the lowest price listed one. So they obviously dont command that high of a premium. Is the only thing different about them from a standard P226 the grips and engraving on top of the slide? |

It also has a Nitron coated slide, actual picatinny rail and a set of Novak sights. Not sure what that means to most people but they are some nice features. On a side note, I had an older MK25 that I sold last year and I got close to my money back on it being slightly used. Not sure about the Blackwater guns but you can always come down on the price if you don't get any bites. |

About $800.00 The sights pictured are stock, not Novaks. Sig tritium lights are good for about 12 years. If they are dim/dead, that should be factored into the price. Seems like I hardly saw any of the standard model. About the only thing I remember is some complained about the red front night sight because although it looked cool it burned out faster than the green so you’d end up with the rear being brighter than the front. Saw a lot more of the Tactical with the TFO sight and magwell grips. They weren’t super special so I’d be surprised if they carried much of a premium but I’m frequently wrong on used gun prices. |
