Looking for something feedback on a couple of shops the do optic milling for the P-10C. All of these shops are within $100 of each other and the pricing variance depends on whether they come with back up iron sights or other add ons beyond simply the milling for the optic. What I’m really asking about is the quality of the milling and refinish and the turnaround time. So if anyone has used any of the shops listed below to get their CZ slide milled, please chime in and give me your thoughts on the value and quality. If you have back up irons on your slide what height and level of co-witness?If you had any other milling work done at the same time please let me know what and if you were happy with the results. Finally, if there are any other shops you think I should consider, please tell me that too. I've used Primary Machine to do a few CZs (P10C and P07) also an S&W Shield (which they don't do anymore for some reason). I was very pleased with their service. The quality of work was excellent. I had them Cerakote the slides, and on the P10C and P07 they installed the sights with the rear sight in front of the optic. They provided the sights for an added cost. Communication and turn around was very good. I had Wager Machine Works do a Glock and a CZ P01. I was very pleased with their service. The quality of work was excellent. I had them Nitride the Glock slide, and they installed the sights with the rear sight in front of the optic. I provided the sights. Communication and turn around was very good. Nitride does take longer and they made that clear upfront, but it was quicker than I expected. On the P01 I just had them blue the milled area and used the OEM sights in their original location. Their price was very good (I think I caught a sale IIRC). I had Jagerwerks do three P320 slides. The quality of work was excellent. I had them Cerakote the slides, and install the sights with the rear sight in front of the optic on two of them. On the last one, they screwed up and installed the sights behind the optic. They emailed me to let me know. They expedited my service as an apology. I got the service already discounted on a holiday sale, and they were extremely busy so I told them that was fine. I would have been more annoyed if it was a CCW, but it's just a range toy. Honestly I think the quality of work was the same with all of them. Wager had the fastest turnaround time and Jager took the longest. Contact them and verify they will do what you need. I'd go with whoever has the best price. I will say that Primary Machine's cuts do seem to be very nice and deep. I also like how tight the optics fits in the pocket (less stress on the screws). | I’m gonna send my p09 to Wagner machine this week. Going for the holosun K cut with blued cut. I like the price and reviews I’ve seen. I do not want to fool with mounting plates. |

I see you already got it done, but just wanted to add how impressed I was with the job Wager Machine did on my P-01. The machining they did was nothing short of perfect! They matched the contour of the Holosun spot-on. The optic dropped in leaving no discernable movement fore & aft before putting screws in. The Cerakot (Tungsten) also came out wonderful. And turnaround was awesome. Dropped the slide in the mail, and had it back in my hands 12 days later. And at $150 (including factory sight removal and reinstall, Cerakote, and return shipping), I doubt anyone could beat their price.

Just to add my two cents: Sp01 by CGW, was a long lead time, work is about 8/10. P01 by Impact Guns, was a short lead time, work is about 7/10. P10C by Nameless, was a short lead time, work is 10/10. Now to be fair, the SP01 uses an adapter plate, the P01 did not have the optic sent for milling fitment, the P10C slide did have the optic sent with it, and communication with NA was awesome. |
