Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the original big window Osight with the charging dock I have one on a gun that seems to get terrible groups. I took the slide off and set it on a stable surface and moving my head around, there seems to be a decent amount of parallax. I haven't had the chance to measure it at an exact 25 yards. |

Went back to the range today at a measured 25 yards. Parallax was much less apparent. Seems like the error is more apparent at 10 to 15 yards. But, the closer the target, the smaller the groups, all things being equal. I've got the same sight on a .22 pistol and it shoots 2" groups at 25 yards from a rest with bulk ammo. |

I've got one of those, and I've not noticed this issue. I need to get out and shoot soon, anyway (I don't get out much at all in the winter here), so I'll try to get some distance shots and see. I'll also shoot it beside a gun with a different sight. I wouldn't say it's perfect or top tier, but I think it's very good for the price. I did get a promo price when it was new, so I paid about $160 for it. It's on my "everything is tier 3" comp gun.  Attached File |
