.380 6+ 1. Is it too much cartridge for the pistol? I understand that it tends to "worm its way" out of your hand under rapid fire. The sale runs out this weekend. ($199.99 + background check.) Opinions? Comments? |

| I have a Kel-Tec P32 that works very, very, well. The only reason I am considering it is as an alternative to my Bersa Thunder .380. I LOVE THIS PISTOL! I wouldn't have a Walther of the same size. (I already have a French 'Manhurin' Walther PP in .32 ACP that covers similar duties. |
| I loved carrying mine. I hated shooting it. That long, heavy trigger bothered me so bad I had nightmares of having to use it in an emergency where I pulled and pulled and pulled and the trigger just kept going but the gun never went off. Seriously, it bothered me so bad I gave it to a buddy that wanted one. I have an LCP max for minimalist/pocket duty now and I like is so much better. Don't carry it often over my G48 or G19, but I'm content with it when the situation calls. I just couldn't get past the mind ****. |

I wouldn't pay that much for an original LCP.....maybe 175 OTD 159 on grab a gun. https://grabagun.com/ruger-lcp-380-bl-polymer-frame-6-1.html?avad=211021_f4b2e98fd |

MUCH better trigger and overall feel. Doesn't work out of your hand. The Max has become my favorite EDC. |

But it'll be easy to sell for a small loss. .380 in pistols originally designed for .32 ACP doesn't generally go well, like in the Walther PPK. |

I still rock mines. I have CTC lasergrips with the rare Hogue holster and grips for it. Stainless steel guide rod along with a heavier recoil spring along with a pinky finger extension. It made shooting it pretty tame. Saved my bacon 2 times already. Last time was a roving abandoned pitty which bit a little girl and wouldn't let go. One shot to the head and it was down. Turns out he had a microchip and it was some ghetto goblin from the city and his mom got it chipped to save money on dog license. Just forgot about the chip. Police got him. |

>>I have a Kel-Tec P32 that works very, very, well<< Based on recommendations from a couple of friends, I picked one of these up a few days ago. I'd shot one of theirs and was impressed with the accuracy, considering what it is. It's been a while since I've owned a .32 acp and I kinda bought it on a lark. LOL Attached File Attached File |

I don’t find the recoil to be that bad, and I’ve probably got mild arthritis in my hands. I added decal grips for a little extra grip, but either way it’s the ultimate deep cover gun. Mine is the original. Was recalled once and modified over drop fire issues. After 10+ years and 2500+ rounds I started getting feed failures. Ruger paid for the return shipping and basically rebuilt the gun. No issues since then. I’ve got the Max also and it’s great, but the OG LCP absolutely disappears in the pocket. |

I've had mine for about five years. It's never "wormed" its way out of my hands. A correct grip stops that. It doesn't feel too stout either. My ex wife, a 115 lb, 5'3" woman never had issues with hers either. We both carried them as a BuG. I will carry mine by itself at times. I have medium sized hands Now, I could see someone with really large hands having an issue because more of their hand will be off of the grip, even with a correct grip, which may be your issue. I bought mine 2nd hand from my neighbor. He loved it, but couldn't hold onto it well, because he has large hands. It's been a great little gun, but, I'm going to switch over to the new LCP Max as soon as I can. With a touch wider grip, and 13+1 capacity, it'll be easier to control, and with real sights, its more than a get up off me " gun. |

The LCP doesn't have that loose part. That's why we switched over. Not much difference otherwise. |

It’s significantly smaller than the LCP Max or BG2.0 Attached File Recoil is fine with XTP 90Gn JHP. If you for some reason need a lower recoil option the 100Gn Black Hills FMJ is very mild. |

I just picked one up yesterday and put 100 rds through it today. no issues to report. and it is not that snappy. at 5yds the groups were low, when I brought it into 3yds the groups were centered. this is not a long-range pistol, that is for sure. ETA, 100 rds, not 10 |

The sights on mine were off a bunch (and of course they're not adjustable.) I have a P3AT as well and it doesn't suffer from this issue, so I knew it was the LCP and not me. |
| They're a handful as small as they are for sure. It's not awful though. But for a pocket gun, man they are amazing. I use a Vedder pocket holster for mine with the thumb stud thing or whatever they call it on the holster. It works well. Have a spare mag in my left front pocket. |

I deep concealed a P3AT for 20 years. In my back pocket of my dress pants, with it buttoned. Worked perfect with a wallet style leather holster. I fired a couple of mags through it every range trip. It never failed. |

I never had a problem with the recoil or controlling the original LCP. My only real complaint is the lack of decent sights on it. There are actually several variations of the original LCP. The very first one had basically no sights and a stupid long trigger pull. The updated models improved the trigger and added a slightly taller front sight bump. Bodyguard 2.0 is way better even if it is a bit larger. |
