I already have an LCRx I bought a couple years ago when PSA had them for $399 with free shipping. I’ve shot it a lot, carried it a couple years during deer seasons. Like everything except the hammer spur. So I ordered an LCR for $402 today. It has the fiber optic front sight. Anyone have that version? Any issue with shooting low with that front? Fiber optic falling out of the housing? I figured if I hate the front sight that’s an easy fix. |

| While I don't have that particular Ruger gun, I do have a couple other Ruger revolvers with that sight and I like it. For me it is easier to shoot more accurately and I can see the front sight/dot/fiber optic better than with blacked out sights. I have a couple LCR guns and am quite pleased with how accurate they are. |

Got it yesterday. Trigger seems even better than my broke in LCRx. The front sight design isn’t great. If you properly align the front and rear sight the fiber optic “dot” is partially buried. Up close just put that big green dot center mass. But for further distances proper sight alignment obscures the bottom half of the dot. Haven’t found its preferred ammo yet. |
