Dropped the Radian Ramjet and Afterburner in today. Zero'd it and put a few hundred rounds through it. Mostly Aguila 124 grain but also a mag of 115. Ran great with the OEM recoil spring. Just needed a few clicks left on the zero from where it was with the factory barrel. I'm pretty happy with it! Just need a TLR7 HL-X and some BUIS and this thing will be done. Pretty boring spec wise but I love shooting this thing! Gen 5 G19 MOS Radian Ramjet and Afterburner Holosun EPS on DPP plate Surefire X300 Ultra (soon to be replaced with a TLR7 HL-X) Glock Performance Trigger SLR Magwell Modified Large beaver tail back strap G19 mag with Warne +3 mag extension and G17 mag spring Vickers Mag Release Everything else is OEM

Also, not sure if this has been covered yet, Radian redesigned the Ramjet and Afterburner at some point. The teardrop look at the muzzle is aesthetic only now. It no longer times the comp. The timing is all done by the set screw. Apparently this was to allow users to spin the comp while removing it to help break carbon buildup loose.

For those who carry a traditional Roland Special with X300 and KKM comp in an appendix holster, do you use holster wedges to make it print less? If so, which are the best? |

Attached File I literally have not fired a Glock in the last calendar year +, it’s been 100% hammer pistols and overwhelmingly my 2011s. Grabbed the Roland today and while it held up its end of the bargain fine, I certainly did not. Getting (re) used to that grip angle and how it presents is just…man, it’s not insubstantial when the last 10k rounds or whatever have been totally different. Shot ultra soft and totally reliable, the pistol did its job. |
