Classic 1911 Commander, no rail, no optic, 4.25" barrel. Tisas Tank Commander to be precise, so steel frame. Looking for a Conceal Carry holster, OWB, FBI cant, leather, no retention STRAP. NOT INTERESTED IN KYDEX / BOLTERON / PLASTIC. What say ye? |

I discoved this by accident some years ago and love it. The Bianchi P.I. Its cut for a commander lenght gun It has alittle more forward rake than the FBI tilt. So the overall package on your hip feels much smaller than it is. It's available in Black or Brown. The leather is just the right thickness. It's available from Amazon or Midway usa. I used my Discover points and got mine for free. I have had mine for a long time and I'm very happy with it. |

I have purchased 3 El Paso Saddlery Tom Threepersons holsters for my S&W revolvers and they are a great field holster. And not really for what you have in mind. That said they are also high quality holster and will have something in their lineup that might suit your needs. |

Kramer, Ryan Grizzle, and now Horse and oak for horsehide. Milt Sparks for cow. They are very good and you could probably get a horsehide one from him too. I'm currently carrying my 625 MG in a pmk. Horsehide is thinner and denser than cowhide. It doesn't absorb moisture and it clicks in like kydex. |
