So you don’t take the slide off and do a quick cleaning? You just spray it down and wipe? |

Never had a single malfunction after about ~1500 rounds through the ts2 I had. Out of all that I only took the slide off of it once to put a couple of dabs of grease on the frame rails so I can’t say i agree with this statement |

For those with DWX's and 2011's, can you talk about how they compare? Also, with the DWX being all metal, do you feel the shock impulse / vibration of firing through the dustcover and grip? This was an issue with my old CZ75, felt harsher then a Glock despite the increased weight, due to the vibration of the shock impulse traveling through the metal frame (like hitting a baseball funny with an aluminum bat) |

The factory metal base plates don't work with it. I was able to fit CZ P10f plastic base plates after some dremel work for a cheaper solution. Those will eventually get replaced with extended base plates. If you're building this out for USPSA limited or limited optics you'll want extended base plates anyway, and a magwell doesn't hurt either. |

I don't wanna hijack the thread, but maybe this will be helpful to others as well. Anyone who has the advice and cheat code for the gear setup for this, it would be much appreciated. Especially what legal mag extensions to get with a magwell. It seems the stock mags with factory baseplate are close to 5.5" already. I've been shooting my carry guns with my actual CCW gear in CO division previously, so I pretty much need everything except the pistol to get set up. Belt, holster, mag holders If anyone feels inclined to share what's worked for them here, or via PM, that would be appreciated. Otherwise I'll just do the research and look it up. @45-Seventy is a DWX and USPSA ninja who may have some helpful input here. |

The CZ large frame magwells fit and you can trim a stock grip panel to fit easily if you want to do it on the cheap. I have some CZ 75 rubber ones I can offer you. If you have the P10 mags with the plastic extension, you just need to sand the top edge of the plastic too make enough bevel for them to work. The Henning P10 mag extensions work great and with a new spring and follower you can get 24 in the mag. Really for USPSA LO you will only need to change mags once, so a magwell is optional... (but it is nice) |

I woke up this morning never thinking I'd buy a DWX. While looking thru my normal morning websites I found one that has been worked on. Called and it was still available. Optics ready! Reasonable price. Bought it on the spot. Tomorrow is my birthday, so looking forward to having this in hand next week. It will slot into place with my Dan Wesson revolvers. lilMAC25 I love the wood on your gun. Went to the site and found something that will match up with my Revolvers, so very excited about this! Just checked, and I'm a 3 1/2 drive from LS Grips!! That means Buc-ee's coming and going. Out to my shop tomorrow to hunt for CZ mags that may still be around from my flirtation with the P-10F. |

Looked all over for the old mags, but no luck. Ordered 2 and the 24 round bits. Now to start studying what’s new in the Optics world. I know a giant TV screen is What I’ll need. Any opinions welcomed. |

| Still in the experimental stage, but I put the guts from a Sig XMacro mag into my DWXc mag and was able to fit 17rds. The Sig follower doesn't work and the CZ follower doesn't fit the Sig springs. But that's a small obstacle. I should have working 17rd DWXc mags shortly, I'll document the process and post it when I do. |

If you swap to a grams spring and follower you can occasionally get 18 (non-reloadable) in the 15 round bodies (though you also need to get creative with the baseplate lock) 17 will work with the standard lock. |

I’m planning on finding some fancy but subtle screws to jazz it up even more. Any brand suggestions? I like the Altamont Nova engraved screws the best out of what I’ve found so far. https://i.imgur.com/RQgtZvy.jpeg This may be out, as I took my CZ screw from an SP01T out and tried them in the DWX and they worked fine. When I put the DWX screws in the CZ they also worked fine. I’ll need to get some 1911 grip screws to confirm but it seems that my DWX uses CZ screws despite being a relatively early S/N. Also, I should receive my holster this Tuesday! I like these Nova screws too and have been overthinking it. Remembered I have several 1911's, so they are bound to fit something. Ordered them and hope the DWX and all the extras arrive this week. |

Have you shot it yet? Any issues with brass hitting the SRO? Range Panda makes a sunshade for the SRO. I have one on order. It may help with early morning/late evening issues when facing into the sun. Sun shade |

I'd hoped my DWX would be here today. Bad news, they couldn't find the iron sight plate so ordered a new one for me. We had a nice chat and I'm getting a free black trigger too. My Black line Spalted Maple grips should be here tomorrow. They are from the same maker as lilMAC25's. Just need my gun and a sunny day. |

Thinking about picking up a DXW. This is some info I have gathered: DWX full size - CZ P10F 19 rnd mags Grip Screws - Full Size -Prior to serial number X2302050 = 1911-threaded screws -After X2302050 = CZ-threaded screws *Some frames shortly before or after X2302050 may still use 1911-threads. It is best to identify your OEM screws prior to ordering Grip Options Lok, Cool Hand, VZ, Hennings // Do have a couple questions - Grips - have read both CZ75 and Shadow 2 grips work, and have read only Shadow 2 grips work. Which is correct? Is there a left / single side / non ambi safety available? Have seen some indicate there is, but no source or part number. |

So grips- the rear grip blend line at the 18 degree parallel section is identical to the standard 75 position (the shadow 2 drives this section out further) the top of the grip slot transition is left un-notched like a shadow 2 however and the slope transitioning from backstrap/parallel section to the beaver tail undercut is more like the shadow 2 style (a straight line angle with small radius transition) rather than the 75 which transitions into the undercut through a large gradual radius and very short straight line angle right before the undercut. That’s a whole lot to say, generally the radius transition at the perpendicular cross section of the mainspring housing will appear smoother with a better blend if using standard 75 series grips. However because the top of the grip slot is unnotched, some older grip designs for the 75 series that used the notch to wrap around the transition of frame to grip may look a little off at the top. We worked directly with Henning for the dwx grips to combine the feature sets for the production grips so they are a little different than his older shadow 2 grips. The factory CZ shadow 2 thin aluminum grips are a bit long however in my opinion and the transition to the mainspring housing/back strap is a bit abrupt. Couldn’t say how well other manufacturer shadow 2 grips blend at the rear. But the side profile of the LOK’s I’ve seen look good. Notch on 75 frames mentioned: Attached File Example of an older 75 series grip that uses the notch to wrap around/cover the transition to the frame: Attached File Shadow 2 without notch for comparison: Attached File Ultimately either style will fit, it’s mostly personal preference. The CZ parts store stocks a single sided version of the standard safety. https://shop.cz-usa.com/dwx0037.html Unsure if there are other aftermarket options. |

LOL I've just been using regular blue loctite as per all the instructions. No issues with other pistols. Some for several thousand rounds. I might have to give that Vibra tight 121 a try on the DWX, the next time those wimpy little screws back out. Plenty of the reviews on the vibra say they've had better luck than with loc tite brand. If that doesn't work, I may just say screw it and put some of the heavier duty red stuff. |

It always stays kinda gummy(ish) so it's super easy to remove at any time. If you buy some, make sure you store it either double ziplock bagged or in some type of airtight container so it doesn't dry up and become useless after using it one or two times. (i've always bought the little tubes and the caps don't seem to seal that well) https://www.vibra-tite.com/threadlockers/plastic-compatible/vibra-tite-vc-3-threadmate/ |

One more question. The stock DWX ambi safety, the right side paddle has a keyway / notch to interface with the hammer pin, which has a groove on the end of it for such. Is there a hammer pin that is shorter, does not have that groove on the end? Or, just pickup a extra hammer pin to grind down? |
