Can’t find any info on the 185’s for performance. Can only find stuff with 230’s. Any help? Great success with their match stuff in same weight. Thanks. |

If you were to study up on the SKU #. ASP bullets are nothing "NEW". For example, the 45 Caliber 185gr JHP. Well it was formerly called the Custom Competition bullets so beloved by the USMC Pistol team. You might do well to spend your money on "known" stuff like HST and Gold Dot Ammo. |

| Just saw this one. I did a test with some of there 9mm projectiles loaded by Underwood in 38 Super. Weight retention after firing through heavy clothing into water wasn’t great. Jacket and core separated, petals sheared, retained weight was something like 70% if I recall. I can pull them back out and weigh them if you’d like. I didn’t feel they’d be the best after that if any other barriers were involved. |
| I came here to post a question about this stuff. I bought .45 ACP 185 grn ammo from a local store on sale. I just went to shoot it in a RIA 1911 and it'll start to go into the chamber and jam half way in. It's weird because the bullet gets set back, but it's not nose diving into the feed ramp. It must be the bullet shape. This gun has thousands of rounds and I've tested it with a bunch of HPs and it'll feed anything, but this. |
