It looks nice. Personally I wouldn't buy one without test firing. I think some of them were jam o matics.

I had heard that as well, but from the info I could find it seemed like the early Canadian guns were pretty solid.

Nice looking para. That polish gives it a sweet melty smooth look.

I have an old Canadian P12-45, shoots great.

Idk any tricks, it's just a short 1911 with a fat bottom

Tips - CDNN has Para NOS Canadian mags they put on sale often.

Check the angles on the extractor claw and correct them if not OK or smooth. Tune tension on it. Get a recoil assembly from EGW, the original is crap and lasts less then 1000 rounds. The EGW is much longer lasting.
