After reading the 7+ pages of reviews on the Prodigy, I decided to go find one for myself  .Attached File Out of the box, I stripped it, remove all oil, did a little massaging of the sear spring to bring the trigger pull weight down to 3.5# from the factory 4.5#. Added the Crimson Trace CT and off to the range. 300 rds dry, no lub to break it in, happy to report she ate them all without hiccups. The integral comp/ported barrel sure made it soft to shoot. The final magazine to check for accuracy - 25 yrs, Magtech 115 gr steel case FMJ, resting on a tripod. 17 rounds (one full mag). I wish I can shoot this well off hand Black dot was made with spray paint using the paste tape roll so it is about 3" in diameter. Attached File |
