I really like my new 5" Springfield Prodigy.....but the mag release is super stiff, and very gritty and rough. It feels like it's got sand it in. I pulled it out of the pistol, smoothed it up the best I could, even cut a wind off of the spring......and it made it slightly less stiff, but man....it's still super gritty. Not sure if there is something down inside the bore where the spring rides or what....but it's horrible. Any suggestions for an aftermarket mag catch/release that would make it feel better? My Dan Wesson and even Tisas 1911's are super smooth. Thanks! |
