I’ve become a bit of a CZ junky….. Picked up a Shadow 2 Blue today…. It’s a 2025 production. LGS had an Orange and one of the long slide Targets as well. I definitely didn’t expect the weight! It’s “thick”, but in that good way. My collection now includes: Shadow 2 Blue CZ75B P-01 ODG (factory OD Green) P-01 PCR The “B” and the PCR have 15lb Wolff hammer springs. The OD P-01 was drug through the Apex catalog before I bought it and it has a very nice trigger. The Shadow is of course bone stock. The “B” is still in the safe. Sorry!  I’ll be breaking in the Shadow 2 at the range this weekend. Can’t wait! |

| Nice little growing collection you got there. I have the Shadow 2 Carry and despite what the Reddit warriors complain about, I really like it. I'm a couple thousand rounds in plus two pistol courses and have had zero issues with it. Have a 3rd pistol class coming up and should be around 3k rounds by the end of it. The full size Shadow 2 is a really nice pistol. You'll have to update after you shoot it. It's on my list of reasons for overtime at work currently. |

Put 100 rounds through it today. Blazer 147gr TMJ FP aluminum case. Other than a failure to lock back on the first mag, it was spotless. I had to give it three clicks up from factory at 15 yards. Man, it’s a sweet shooter! The guy that came with today had brought his Canik. Boy, what a difference! Honestly for the price the Canik is a good gun, but it’s like comparing a base Kia to a nice Mercedes. My final mag my last five rounds stacked in the bull. Very happy! Considering how well the P-01 shoots for me I’m not surprised. The Shadow 2 trigger is decent, but I’m spoiled by nice 1911’s and old Smith revolvers. Otherwise, the Shadow just glides. Now I need to work up some hand loads….. |

| My first CZ was a Tac Sport Orange. Turns out Im a competent pistol shooter after all. That gun shoots like a laser beam and is ridiculously accurate pistol. With a 1 lb 4 oz flat blade trigger even I can shoot USPSA and IDPA pretty well with it. Steel challenges have become a hoot to shoot. An SRO on top and it's like I unlocked the God-cheat mode. I also have an S2 Blue and that too is a phenomenal gun. DWX inbound soon too (just dont mention it to the wife yet.....) |
