Ive always liked the p22x line of pistols. Legion was the best upgrade imho, but now this! Carry version takes the same mags as the full size. Seems they've jumped onboard with the short slide/full grip pistol lineups. My only wish is they'd start making stainless frame pistols again. It’s not, it’s the newest Romeo X pro, closed emitter which is pricey by itself. I really like it so far. Will range report. |

Range day was good, I really like the trigger, crisp. Red dot needs to be adjusted, but I didn’t bring a flathead to adjust. Daughter was using her 10/22 for the first time, core shots. I took all the head shots, 15,20, 25 yards. I need practice Attached File |

AWMP - I really like my 226 x-carry SAO. I have an x5 Legion, 226 L , 229 L and this fits that G19 role where it fits my hand better than the 229. For the 226/9 Legions I followed sig guys videos and added triggers, hammers, struts to dial in my guns exactly as I wanted them. For the X carry it was just the Rome X enclosed with their new mount. Sits super low and rock solid mount. Some draw stroke dry fire and ammo testing and was ready to roll the colder weather carry option. Trust this system and shoot it well. I carried 1911s during the AWB so SAO is comfortable to me from years of training vs learning the DA/SA trigger. Clearly my reflection on 80/90's choices I made and paths I followed vs reliability of the system.  If you want the 226 X full or carry - don't hesitate and just purchase one or more. If you're a dot guy the new X enclosed loc is as close as you get to the M17 dot that is lower than my RMR, HD, Holosuns, etc. Duty grade/ ccw ready after training to master your particular trigger! I have both of the 226x Carry Legions on order via Expert Voice via Sig direct. If you qualify the prices will save you some money, I did order a MK25 at the same time (yes 226 fan boy). I sold a few pistols to get the above and ready to get them in hand, just not sure of the shipping date. I called Sig and asked and was told Sig is making 70,000 pistols a month so it just depends on what they get out of the factory as to when the pistols ship. My black LEO Legion has a few mods to it and shoots great, just needed to add a few more 226s so they don’t get lonely, lol.  |

Has ANYONE found a decent carry OWB holster for the full size? I’m struggling to find one. It’s my understanding that the slide is the same dimensions as the X5 just shorter without the comp. I’d rather have one that fits this length rather than a longer X5 holster. But if no one can recommend one, can someone recommend a good X5 holster for carry? |

Got some good news for you. ANR designs has an OWB for you. I don't have one of their holsters because I use some others. I use upper hand holsters a lot for my sigs and have several for the 226 & 229 legion, x-5 legion and now use it for the x-carry. I just kept the small gap. If you're feeling classy and top of the line - I spoke with the team at Falco holsters. real carbon fiber and leather cx92 full carbon fiber cx 91. I looked at cutting weight wherever I could but don't have one as of yet. The best news is the 320 x carry holster at 3.9 inches will fit you 226 x carry. Just tried it with one of my holsters in kydex and it works. You can do a google search for reddit and SIG Talk . That nows gives you a ton more options of makers to choose from. Anything I mentioned did not use a light on the weapon as I just did basic weapon searches Finally whole guns has an OWB for their 320 x carry and I ordered from them yesterday to get a fuse holster for the 365 dh3 axg. holy crap that's like a computer language lol. Best of luck and hit me up if you find one you love. Would like to know what you picked. Get's even more fun when you throw the sport 2 takedown lever on them . |
