Today purchased a new Colt Cobra. Really a nice 6-shot .38spl. +P rated revolver. Brought it home, cleaned it then off to the range. Shot everything I ran through it no issues or hang ups. I checked it over well before purchasing. Never heard of Tumbled Stainless finish? I thought it was shiny stainless? Oh well. I'm happy.  |

I recently sold my 1966 Colt Detective Special because it was ammo specific in double action shooting & wasn't +P rated. But really liked the retro look like this newer Cobra. Guys over at Coltforum are really talking it up. So far pleased with my "New" Cobra Post 2017 .38spl. Just ordered a leather holster for it which was a long process finding what I wanted and in stock. And learned that there are 3 Cobra's offered by up to date holster manufactures: Cobra, Pre 2017 Cobra, Post 2017 Cobra. Ours would be Post 2017 due to the enlarged trigger guard. |
