| I got mine yesterday and man that slide was hard to rack also with a hitch. As I want to use this as a ccw, I was concerned about clearing malfunctions. Per advice, I lubed it and kept the slide locked over night and today the slide is so much easier to rack and hitch has disappeared. . Almost seems like a different gun. |

I ran mine probably a hundred times with a snap cap and smoothed right out. This is an impressive psitol. |

As soon as I see a BG2.0 in the wild i’m scooping it up as my primary daily conceal carry. I got to hold one yesterday. If it were any smaller, it would be too small for me to get a comfortable grip on. For my hand size it’s a perfect ‘pocket pistol’ grip. |

Sent mine back a while ago for repair. Been about 6 weeks now...Called and was simply told that it should be shipped back soon as it has progressed through the warranty process. S&W did provide a return label upfront. If you can check one out in person, be sure to check: That both magazines positively lock the slide to the rear and that the slide releases upon the slide release being pushed down. Mine would not lock back with the 10 round magazine live fire or not. Mine would also not drop magazines free whether loaded to capacity or not and I could feel the frame bulging when inserting magazines. Hopefully it comes back good to go, because the pistol is ideal. |

I just got one a couple weeks ago and fired it last week. Worked like a charm but the front sight was not centered. I moved it a bit left but it still needs to come over a little more. It definitely let's you know when you fire it. Hurts the webbing of my hand and my wife doesn't like it for that reason. I'm not going to shoot it a lot so that's not a reason for me to get rid of it. I really like the size, the sights and the magazine capacity. I can get all of my fingers on it even with the 10 round magazine. The 12 round almost feels too big. It's not but I think I like the feel of the 10 round magazine better. And it fits in my front pocket nicely. Feels very nice in the hand too, much better than Dad's LCP. Overall, I really like it and am glad I bought it. |

I shot 150 rounds through mine this weekend. Round nose 95gr fmj Norma , and some 90gr Fiocci JHP. I did buy inexpensive stuff intending to do some familiarization and break-in before investing in carry ammo. Unfortunately, it is a jam-o-matic thus far. Particularly with the 10rnd mag, for some reason. With the 10, the slide fails to lock back most of the time and the rounds seem to nose-dive. The 12 locks back. Also, light primer strikes with both ammo types . Research finds people posting problems with both of the ammo choices, so this may be self-inflicted. I'll get some better stuff and try again. I don't find it to be hard shooting at all, and as accurate as I am with any other pistol. Also, I have small hands and did not get any slide bite. The site does need to be adjusted, 3" to the left at 7 yards. I don't typically have problems limp-wristing any pistols, and purposefully tried limp-wristing this one. No difference. Anyways, a bummer of a range day for the BG 2.0 |

Got a shipment notification today for my Bodyguard I sent back. 9 weeks total time it took. Hoping I can be off to a good start now. Will report how it goes next range outing. I have critical defense, HST, and some older PDX1 I plan to run through it. If there is any repair logs with the return, ill report what was done. On the plus side, I have a holster and magazine carrier ready to go that made it here before the 2.0 made its voyage back. |

Just had my first range outing with mine . 200 rounds or so of PMC 90 gr fmj No issues and reliable from start to finish . Used 10 round mag and the rest 12 rounders Shoots to the left about only issue. Super controllable and is comfortable to shoot . Attached File |

Vulcan Machine Works cut my G42 and G43 for EPS Carry dots. I’m not a pocket carry guy, so I wasn’t worried about the extra snag from the RDS. I like the big ol’ green dot on top of the gun over irons. I shoot dots way more than irons these days, so if I revert to my lowest common denominator I’m more likely to stay target focused and pick up the dot vs trying front sight focus. Attached File ETA: unless I’m open carrying on a hike with a G17 in a Safariland, I AIWB, so the pocket carry thing isn’t a factor for me. |

| I have had both and for me, it's the Bodyguard all day every day. Better ergos, better trigger, better capacity, better sights, better accuracy, better size, etc. The Glock felt like comparing a stone age spear to a modern weapon, just crude. The Glock is down the road without a thought. |

I picked up one on 10/27 for $425. It was between this and the G42. The sights and ergos of the 2.0 pushed me in favor, but the capacity was hard to ignore as well. I wish I could have shot the G42 side by side with the 2.0 but pretty sure I made the right choice. Ran 100 rounds through it this weekend and no issues. Front sight was centered in dovetail and rounds landed poa/poi. Amazing how soft it shoots for a 10oz gun. Got this as a primary carry for my wife (3 different holster setups on the way) and she did very well with it this weekend. I’m not a pocket gun guy (G19 AWIB 99.9% of the time) but this is a sweet little pistol. |

Had mine for couple weeks. Finally got it out today. Put around 100 rounds through it with no issues. Used mainly target rn ammo but also a few magazines worth of hp. My sights are centered and it seemed to hit where I aimed. Wanted to give it to my wife as and upgrade her p238 but she is having difficulties racking slide. Guess I will keep it for myself

| Picked mine up Monday. 200 rounds so far no issues other than shooting a foot left at 25. Have to aim completely off the target. This was AFTER drifting the front sight to center. Had other competent handgun shooters try it as well still a foot left at 25... not sure what to think. Will have to drift my front sight considerably to the left. |

The size of the BG 2.0 is noticeably smaller than the G42 but for me the trigger on the G42 is much better than B2.0. Comparing the 2 G42 feels and shoots like a better firearm. Far as capacity go’s I have maggutts in G42,8 rounds,I’m confident in firearm. Attached File |

I have some in my G42 and they have been 100% reliable. With that said it’s a shame I have to modify a stock product just to get little more capacity in an already low capacity gun for the footprint. It’s been a necessary evil for me. One I have not enjoyed doing. It has always given me that little bit of doubt. |

I brought my G42 and LCP Max to the range yesterday. I rented a BG 2.0 to compare them against. The range gave me 10 and 12 round mags for the BG 2.0. My thoughts: BG 2.0 is a little snappier than the G42 but much less snappy than the LCP Max. My G42 mags have finger extensions which give the approximate grip length of the 12 round BG. I have Ameriglo sights (red front, green back) on my G42 which I like better than the BG, but the BG sights are nice. However, the BG has better sights than the LCP Max in my opinion. I shoot the BG rather well, but I would say I was about as accurate as I am with my G42. My G42 follow-up shots were more accurate than the BG, but I have more time on the G42 so it could be inexperience. I've never been able to place accurate shots with the LCP Max (it's why I prefer carrying the G42). The BG is lighter than the G42 and I can imagine it's easier to pocket carry. In short, I liked the BG 2.0 and would like to eventually get one. It's slightly more concealable than the G42 and lighter. It would be nice to have 6 more rounds but I'm a confident shot with the G42. |

I have close to 1500 rounds thru the G42. I really like the feel of the gun

I am at the in laws farm for a shooting + hang out bro weekend with a couple friends and one guy brought his G42 and new BG2.0. Initial impressions after a few mags: - G42 has better trigger, but BG trigger is acceptable - G42 has softer recoil impulse, but BG recoil is still pleasant - G42 has better accuracy, but BG accuracy is very good and likely more accurate than most shooters - BG is much smaller and lighter than the G42. It's stunning how tiny this thing is, with more capacity to boot. - No malfunctions with BG so far S&W knocked it out of the park in my opinion. And I'm a Glock fan boy. I'm not sure you really *need* a pocket sized .380 to be high capacity but why not? The selling point is really the size and capacity so if you wish your G42 was smaller and higher capacity - there is no contest, get the BG 2.0. The BG2.0 is made a lot of micro .380s irrelevant. We saw them for $399 at a local shop too. S&W will sell a lot of these imo. |
