Joined the club today, went to the LGS and they had two on the counter, the guy next to me bought the other one. Got to send a few happiness pills down range at the shop, and did ok. One thing that really started to bother me after a while was the grip texture. No issue, broke out the cordura wrap and presto, love it just that much more! Attached File |

Finally shot my Carry Comp model. Thought it snappier than my P365-380 but overall good first impressions and no malfunctions in nearly 200 rds. I noticed the 12 round magazine would sometimes bind up on me after the second round making it impossible to get a third round in. I had to use a Lula loader made for 9mm mags to get past it. Anyone else experience this? |

I went online last night and use the contact us section of the Smith & Wesson website to request warranty service. There has to be something wrong with my bodyguard 2.0 I’ve never had a gun that shoots this poorly. Thirty shot 25-yard groups fired from a rest are 12-14” |

The Carry Comp version peaked my interest as soon as it came out… I’ve been carrying a Glock 43 for years, but do not enjoy shooting it. I was considering doing the Glock Store ‘C’ cut on it to tame some of the recoil, but then the BG 2.0 CC came on the scene. Does anyone have experience with both the 43 and the BG comp model?? |

I took the kids shooting bottles at the creek yesterday. They had their Glock 44s. I took out the BG2. I’m not sure what wizardry S&W uses on these guns, but it shoots fantastic. My Glock 42 sits at the back of the safe now wondering how it can do better. I bought a desantis Apache ankle rig for it. I’m retiring my 642 from ankle carry. The BG2 is lighter with more than double the capacity. I’ve carried the 642 for decades but my eyes can’t see the sights well anymore. I’m getting used to the huge rear sight in the BG2. My eyes pick up the front sight fine without cheaters. I’m not going to win any accuracy contests with the thing, but I can draw from a hip holster and hit a coke can 5 yards across the creek just fine. I bought this gun for my wife when it first came out. She has zero interest in carrying anything so it’s mine now. |

The large U in the rear site is horrible for any sort of distance beyond about ten yards. I’ve never shot with sights with so much daylight on each side of the front sight. |

Anyone making aftermarket magazine releases for these yet? I pocket carry mine mostly and keep releasing the magazine in the pocket. Started out carrying in a sticky holster, then got a vedder pocket locker and had them cover the mag release and j still occasionally find myagazine has been released in the pocket. I'm thinking of shaving the factory release down a bit, but I haven't found replacement factory releases available either. |

Just picked up a No Thumb Safety Bodyguard 2.0 and wow, I am impressed. Feels like a full gun in the hand, easy to shooting with two hands or even one, does shoot slightly to the left, but groups great and I will be putting the Viridian green dot on it. | I picked up the comp model. Took it out back today and was kinda disappointed. Loaded both mags with Fiocchi FMJs. Seated a loaded mag, racked the slide and the rd got caught up and would not feed into the chamber. Dropped the mag, cleared out the unfired rd and inserted my 2nd mag. Same thing. Unloaded both mags, reloaded with PMC FMJs. Fed the 1st rd. 2nd rd dead trigger. Racked the slide, ejected live rd, fed a live rds ok. Fired again, same thing. Tried my other mag, same issues. Not very happy so far. |

DOB is 10-09-2025 Just got done cleaning it. Took the mags apart as well to clean them up. Going to go back out tomorrow and try some other ammo. Locked the slide back in it last night. Left it like that till about 2hrs ago. Seems smoother now. No issues with the feed ramp. |

Interesting… you’d think the newer the gun the better fit and finish it would have… S&W trying to do better, I guess? Mine is July 2025 born. I loaded the 12 round mag with 11 rounds- NO WAY it would take 12 rounds. Zero chance it would take the 12th round! On that first mag I had a failure to feed, cleared that, then a fail to fire. Once those were cleared- I ran 50 more rounds, in both the 10 and 12 round mags - only loading the 12’s with 11 rounds, trouble free with WWB. |

Shot my recently acquired comp version this morning along with a bunch of other pistols that needed test firing, it’s so much better to shoot vs the non comp! Ran a couple different brands of ammo with zero issues. Will definitely be in the carry rotation. Side note, grabbed an Amazon 3d printed mag loader for it, definitely a thumb saver for these mags! So both my stock mags have a strange issue when I try to load them with the Lula loader. It's consistently on the third round in where the spring refuses to compress down and requires me to load manually before letting the Lula do its thing. From a recoil perspective, I feel the port does almost nothing vs the standard version I shot it side by side with it. I've had one stovepipe using Federal but otherwise good cycling. All in all, I prefer to shoot the Sig 365-380 more

All in all, I prefer to shoot the Sig 365-380 more I don't have this gun. But researching it I saw a YouTube, that the loader puts pressure on the rear and cocks the follower up in front. So sometimes it gets hung up by mag release cut out or something. I don't remember what he did to fix it. |
