Not for a red dot, I need some lightening cuts. I am building a 9mm 1911 with a 6in long slide and a compensator. The combo of the slide and the comp, even tuning with springs and hot ammo, it is not enough. The slide needs to go on a diet if I want to keep the comp. Looking for someone who can cut some lightening cuts in the slide. It does not really need to be a large shop, as all the cuts will be simple cuts to make with a mill. So any SKILLED gunsmith/machinist will be able to make the cuts no problem. I am wanting to be able to speak with the one doing the work, so we can go over ideas for where to make the cuts and different designs. Any suggestions, or any smiths on here want to do it? |
