New walther p99 AS final edition Jarvis threaded barrel Earl walther red recoil spring Cgs mod9 Slide wont fully return to battery when shooting suppressed about half the time. Tried a variety of ammo from 115gr to 147gr No problems without the suppressor. |
| When I bought a factory Walthers PPQ M2 threaded barrel kit (it works in the P99 as well) it came with a heavier recoil spring. I didn’t need it in mine to run, but I’m wondering if yours has seen some mileage, it may not be enough to fully lock it back up with the extra suppressor weight. Might want to try a new or heavier recoil spring. |

Might want to try a new or heavier recoil spring. Everything is new. Hardly any mileage. The red recoil spring i got from Earl Walther is supposed to be for suppressor use. Looks like i will have to try another recoil spring solution from DPM or Sprinco. |
