I have recently purchased my first ever compensated pistols the 4.0" Carry Comp and the 5.6" Performance Center Gun. I understand that coated bullets are not recommended, what about thick plated berry's bullets? I assume it is ok to shoot regular FMJ ammo in them or do I need to stick to hollow point ammo? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

I think that some guns/barrels can cause the coating to fragment as the projectile is leaving the bore. Theoretically, a large enough fragment could damage the comp or ricochet back into the shooters face. |
