Every so often I have a desire for a 4" .44 mag revolver. I have had a couple of 6" 629's for 30+ years and really want to add a S&W Mountain Gun to my stable but, at least for now, the cost is preventing that. Question is: has Taurus ever made the 4" model 44 (not interested in their Tracker™ model) without the ported barrel? My Google is weak but, I can't find a reference to a non ported version so I figured I'd ask. |
