Just got a pawn shop Kimber micro 9 Raptor.. $460. So I naturally cleaned it and took it out to shoot it. Had multiple failures to feed, but shot a 3" group at 25 yards with my 124 Gr XTP loads. Of course I came home and polished the s**t out of the feed ramp (the bullet noses were hanging up on the feed ramp), so appears to have fixed that issue, but will go out again tomorrow for proof. Here's the kicker: the groups were at least 8" high. It has "dead" tritium sights so can't just file the rear sight down. Does anyone make a all steel rear sight, or sight set for the micro 9 family of pistols???? |
